Okemah had a rough outing against Meeker last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Okemah strolled past Chandler with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 52-34. The match pushed Chandler down to 3-5 and pulled Okemah up to the reverse at 5-3.
It's more conference action for Okemah and Chandler in their upcoming matches. Okemah will square off against Jones at 7:00 PM next week. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Chandler will be playing at home against Henryetta at at 7:00 PM next week. Henryetta stagger in eager to bring about an end to their six-game losing streak.
