West Bend West dropped their record down to 14-9 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 11-0 to the Slinger Owls. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Spartans, who until this match were averaging 3.48 runs allowed.

As for Slinger, their win bumped their record up to 19-5. Considering they have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Slinger's part, not much got past Jackson Naber, who gave up just five hits to keep West Bend West off the board. Naber has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Macay Wagner was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Cooper Williams was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Coming up, West Bend West will challenge Cedarburg at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Slinger, they will face off against Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Owls 2.8, the Chargers 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
