Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ridgeview). They blew past the Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers 71-34 on Monday. With the Mustangs ahead 49-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

The victory snapped Ridgeview's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-12 record. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-20.

Ridgeview won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fieldcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fieldcrest knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Ridgeview likes a good challenge. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, they will square off against Iroquois West at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
