It was a good run, but Brewbaker Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the LAMP Golden Tigers by a score of 7-6. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Keshawn Taylor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since March 4th. Another player making a difference was Tanner Thornton, who scored a run while going 4-for-5.

Even though they lost, Brewbaker Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Brewbaker Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for LAMP, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Coming up, Brewbaker Tech will face off against Holtville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LAMP, they will take on Tallassee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
