The third road game was the charm for Eunice, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Breaux Bridge Tigers on Thursday. With that win, the Bobcats brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
Madelyn Smith was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
