The Norwich Eagles lost against the Caldwell Bluejays back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Norwich received a tough blow as they fell 53-39 to Caldwell.
It was another big night for Jackson Risley, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds for Caldwell. The match was Risley's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Miles Newell, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Norwich's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Caldwell, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwich and Udall will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Udall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Norwich is ranked 109th). As for Caldwell, they will head out on the road to face off against Conway Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
