Gentry barely beat Siloam Springs the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gentry Pioneers put the hurt on the Siloam Springs Panthers with a sharp 18-3 victory on Friday. That looming 18-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Pioneers yet this season.

The win made it two in a row for Gentry and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Siloam Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Gentry will be taking part in a tournament against Lonoke at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Siloam Springs, they will head out to square off against Mountain Home at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
