For the first time this season, Paradise Honors will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will challenge the Shadow Mountain Matadors at 3:45 p.m. Paradise Honors is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Paradise Honors lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Cactus, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. Everything went Paradise Honors' way against Cactus on Friday as Paradise Honors made off with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Paradise Honors let Kade Ashton and Kaden Kjer run wild. Ashton scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2, while Kjer scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Ashton has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joshua Green Jr., who scored a run and stole Two bases.
Meanwhile, Shadow Mountain didn't have quite enough to beat Dysart on Tuesday and fell 15-14.
Dylan Farrugia was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs while going 4-for-5. Gavin Lieske was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
Paradise Honors' win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8 runs. As for Shadow Mountain, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
Paradise Honors' speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. Paradise Honors has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Shadow Mountain, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Paradise Honors continue to outrun the ball?
