Beamer hasn't had much luck against Auburn Mountainview recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Beamer will head out to challenge Auburn Mountainview at 4:00 p.m. Beamer has given up an average of 13.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Beamer turned things around against Kent-Meridian on Friday. They put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 26-14 win.

Annette Sagale and Asialynn Solia did most of the damage at the plate: Sagale went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles, while Solia scored five runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. With that strong performance, Solia is now averaging an impressive 2.5 runs per game. Elise Nguyen also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Auburn Mountainview got the win against White River on Friday by a conclusive 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Addy Thibeault-Miranda spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in May of 2024.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mia Heigh, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and one stolen base. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kayla Kisling, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Auburn Mountainview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as White River only posted a batting average of .095.
The victory made it two in a row for Auburn Mountainview and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Beamer, their record now sits at 2-3.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Beamer hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. However, it's not like Auburn Mountainview struggles in that department as they've averaged .448. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Beamer suffered a grim 21-0 defeat to Auburn Mountainview in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can Beamer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
