Upper Cape Cod RVT hasn't had much luck against Old Colony RVT recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rams will head out on the road to take on the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Friday, Upper Cape Cod RVT made easy work of Cape Cod RVT and carried off a 25-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won seven contests by nine runs or more so far this season.
Taysia Lopes was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five runs, three RBI, and one triple. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Upper Cape Cod RVT has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 11 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Old Colony RVT struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
