Khalil Trotman and Sam Gillison provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Middletown South. The connection was good for 68 yards, the longest such play in West Jersey - Patriot this season.
Burlington Township moved up to 99 from 131 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Falcons were able to move up by topping the Eagles 52-45.
Trotman threw for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 18-30 with 1 interception.
Quincey Lambert was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 6 carries, he ran for 70 yards as Pemberton defeated Middletown South.
6-foot-0 quarterback Trotman of Tom Maderia's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,340. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jahmir Foman. The Pemberton star has 25 catches for 438 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in West Jersey - Patriot this week, Lawrence beat Allentown 21-14. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Cardinals.
