Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky]'s Dylan Ruff recorded the longest rushing play in 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) this season in his game against Parshall/White Shield last week. Ruff's team beat the Braves as he sprinted for 79 yards on the play and finished with 155 in all.
Divide County extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Shiloh Christian, 46-25. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Maroons.
Taylor Zentner put up the best numbers through the air as Mott-Regent bested Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton]. He finished with a total of six completions for 115 yards and two touchdowns. Zentner's favorite target this week was Zentner, who caught one pass for 67 yards.
Aaron Morman provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] beat Parshall/White Shield. He completed two passes for 95 yards and also ran for 140 yards. Morman's favorite target this week was Jeremy Wirtz, who caught two passes for 95 yards.
The Wildfire's Zentner and Tyler Zentner have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Zentner has thrown for 1450 yards this season, while Zentner, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 34 catches for 754 yards. Kevin Dockter's team's Ruff leads the league in rushing yards with 1269.
The marquee game in 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) this week will be the clash between Beach and the Skyhawks. The Buccaneers comes into the matchup ranked 17th in the state, while Shiloh Christian ranks 13th.
The Braves suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 30-6 loss to the Cougars. Parshall/White Shield had been ranked 25th, but fell to 26 following the defeat.
