While it was all tied up 17-17 at halftime, the Otterville Eagles were not quite the Tipton Cardinals's equal in the second half on Thursday. Otterville took a hard 57-41 fall against Tipton. Otterville lost against Tipton in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 69-51 score last time.
Jackson Bailey was a one-man wrecking crew for Tipton as he scored 31 points. Zach Moon was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 3 steals.
Otterville now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Tipton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Otterville will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against New Bloomfield at 1:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully New Bloomfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Wednesday. As for Tipton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Leeton at 7:00 p.m.
