Despite the defeat, Erie First Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Avery Collins scored 33 points. Collins scored a full 67.3% of Erie First Christian Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Simon Gonzalez, who scored 14 points.
Hickory's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Hickory will head out on the road to face off against Girard at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Erie First Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Iroquois at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd.
