It was a good run, but St. Mary's-Colgan unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Conway Springs Cardinals by a score of 2-1.

St. Mary's-Colgan started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-22, 25-17.

Isabella Coomes paced St. Mary's-Colgan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Coomes got some help from Addi Dewey and her 15 assists.

St. Mary's-Colgan's defeat dropped their record down to 22-16. As for Conway Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-12 record this season.

St. Mary's-Colgan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Conway Springs, they will challenge Jefferson County North at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
