Two dominant in Max Draper and Elijah Kersey are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Viewmont Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Box Elder Bees at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Viewmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully the Bees likes a good challenge.
Viewmont pushed their score all the way to 72 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 91-72 to Bountiful. Viewmont has struggled against the RedHawks recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Box Elder pushed their score all the way to 58 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woods Cross. Box Elder has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kersey put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 29 points along with two steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Max Isaacson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Viewmont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Box Elder, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
