Astoria will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Estacada at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Astoria, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
After having lost a blowout to Scappoose in their previous game, Astoria were happy to find some success last week. Astoria came out on top in a nail-biter against Stayton, sneaking past 22-19.
Estacada won against Valley Catholic two weeks ago with 28 points, and Estacada decided to stick to that point total again. Estacada blew past Molalla 28-6. The success made it back-to-back wins for Estacada.
Their wins bumped Astoria to 1-1 and Estacada to 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Astoria and Estacada clash.
