Adams City came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Overland Trailblazers. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Christian Ramirez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jiovani Barajas, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Nathan Gonzalez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Adams City pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Overland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Adams City will welcome Skyview at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.67 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Overland, they will be playing at home against Thornton at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trailblazers are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
