Ridgeland/Hardeeville and Lake City played the most contested game in AA Region VI this week, with Ridgeland/Hardeeville eventually emerging with a 14-12 victory. Marquis Griffin ran for 82 yards during the win.
The Jaguars' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Derrell Myers threw for 118 yards and Gavin Bush had 67 yards receiving. On the ground Griffin contributed 82 yards. Tyrice Smith helped Ridgeland/Hardeeville's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 42 yards.

Blake Raley's team's Myers and Bush have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Myers has thrown for 1,186 yards this season, while Bush has 42 catches for 721 yards. Academic Magnet's Nate Schlosser leads the league in rushing yards with 1,323.
Garrett Academy Tech made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,301 from 10,663. The advance stemmed from a 14-6 victory over Lee Central last week.
