The Mount Si Wildcats won the last time they faced the Eastlake Wolves, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Mount Si claimed a resounding 79-45 win over Eastlake on the road. With Mount Si ahead 39-18 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Trevor Hennig was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 25 points along with six rebounds. Blake Forrest was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and four steals.
Despite the loss, Eastlake still got an impressive performance from Kelyan Wandji, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wandji has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Grady Woodward, who scored nine points.
The win makes it two in a row for Mount Si and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Eastlake, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Mount Si will be home for the holidays to greet Skyline at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Skyline knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Mount Si likes a good challenge. As for Eastlake, they will head out on the road to face off against Issaquah at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
