Donna North had lost four straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 1-8 to make it five. They had to suffer through a 66-14 loss at the hands of the Flour Bluff Hornets. Despite the loss, Donna North still got an impressive performance from Prince Johnson, who rushed for 162 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Johnson's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
As for Flour Bluff, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.4 points on average this season.
Flour Bluff was led to victory by Lucian Cruz and Samuel Smith. Cruz threw for 310 yards and six touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes, while Smith gained 116 total yards and three touchdowns. Those six passing touchdowns gave Cruz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Cain, who picked up 37 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
