Sneads is 10-0 against Wewahitchka since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Sneads Pirates will be staying on the road to face off against the Wewahitchka Gators at 5:00 p.m. on December 14th.
On Tuesday, Sneads ended up a good deal behind Franklin County and lost 46-29. Sneads has not had much luck with Franklin County recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Wewahitchka's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They managed a 29-25 win over Altha. The victory was just what Wewahitchka needed coming off of a 49-28 defeat in their prior matchup.
Sneads' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wewahitchka, their win ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.
Sneads was able to grind out a solid win over Wewahitchka when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 34-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sneads since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
