Negaunee won the last time they faced Ishpeming and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Miners were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Hematites. The Miners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Negaunee and bumps their season record up to 11-11. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Ishpeming, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
