Central Crossing fell 46-36 to Hilliard Davidson. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Central Crossing in their matchups with Hilliard Davidson: they've now lost nine in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Central Crossing lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cheyenne Taylor. Despite the final result, she scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Hamilton, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Hilliard Davidson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chloe Crawford out in front who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crawford has scored all season. Anna Wile was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Central Crossing has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Hilliard Davidson, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.
Central Crossing will head out on the road to face off against Groveport-Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hilliard Davidson, they will play host again and welcome Upper Arlington, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Upper Arlington is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
