Appalachian Christian School fought the good fight in their overtime  game against Temple Christian  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took  a  95-85 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Temple Christian Crusaders. The Trailblazers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second  loss in a row.
 Temple Christian got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Carter Cash out in front who  went 11 of 19  to rack up 31 points along with eight  rebounds and four  steals. The dominant performance gave  Cash a new career-high in  points. Another player making a difference was  Silas Walker, who  went 8 for 20  en route to 27 points in addition to eight  boards and seven  assists.
Appalachian Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Temple Christian, they pushed their record up to 18-7 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  at home.
 Looking ahead, Appalachian Christian School will take on Mt. Carmel Christian Academy at 5:45  p.m.  on Monday. Appalachian Christian School is facing Mt. Carmel Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Mt. Carmel Christian Academy is stuck on  a  12-game losing streak. Temple Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
