Jessika Jennings was dialed in as she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Sumner back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with five or more strikeouts. This season, Jennings has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 2.04 over 45.2 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.463/0.520/0.829 with 20 RBI.
