The Taylor Titans''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. Their rough 52-27 defeat to West Central might stick with them for a while. Taylor was down 32-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Connor Marlatt was his usual excellent self, rushing for 85 yards and four touchdowns, while also throwing for 98 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Jacob Pilarski was another key contributor, rushing for 90 yards and a touchdown.
Taylor's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. As for West Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
