Mojave hasn't had much luck against Southeast Career Tech recently, but that could start to change  on Wednesday. The Rattlers will head out to  square off against the Roadrunners  at 3:30  p.m. Mojave has given up an average of 9.1  runs per game this season, but Wednesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Mojave is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 20  runs  on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Foothill  on Monday. They lost  16-1 to the Falcons.
 Mojave saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jadin Broadnax, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases.
Meanwhile, Southeast Career Tech came tearing into  Monday's  contest with eight straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  an   8-7 W against the Diamondbacks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Roadrunners have posted  since March 1st.
 Neveah Fuller was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Southeast Career Tech let  Ziana Fernandez and  Aysia Suyat run wild. Fernandez  went 1-for-4 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run, while  Suyat  went 1-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Southeast Career Tech  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in five consecutive  matchups.
 Southeast Career Tech's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-8. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Mojave, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
Wednesday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mojave has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .486. However, it's not like Southeast Career Tech struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .503. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Mojave suffered a grim  12-0 defeat to Southeast Career Tech  in their previous meeting  on April 11th. Can the Rattlers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
