The Belle Tigers were the 52-43 winner over the Linn Wildcats when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. Belle fell 54-44 to Linn on Thursday. Belle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Linn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Seth Wolfe, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Gus Peters was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Belle now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Linn, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.
Belle will head out on the road to face off against Bourbon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Linn won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sullivan at 8:30 p.m. on December 15th. Sullivan is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
