If Cesar Chavez wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dobson, they should've done a better job of containing Gustavo Ramirez. Dobson put the hurt on Cesar Chavez with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday thanks in part to Ramirez, who had ten digs and two assists. He has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times he's played.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-15.

Dobson's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Cesar Chavez, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Dobson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Gilbert on the 28th. As for Cesar Chavez, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Dysart on the 26th.
