The Taylor Ducks won the last time they faced the Austin Achieve Polar Bears, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went Taylor's way against Austin Achieve as Taylor made off with a 64-38 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Taylor.
Treos Richardson was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was TJ Whybrew, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Taylor is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-17 record this season. As for Austin Achieve, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.
Taylor will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Manor New Tech at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Manor New Tech will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Taylor surely won't give up without a fight. As for Austin Achieve, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Caldwell will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Austin Achieve surely won't give up without a fight.
