On the hitting side, Yailyn Trevino made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Rosales, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial entered their tilt with Miller on Thursday with 23 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 24.
