Even though Christian Liberty have not done well against the HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Christian Liberty walked away with a 66-54 win over HomeSchool Resource Center. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Christian Liberty.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Edrick Jefferson, who scored 14 points along with six blocks and five rebounds. Jefferson has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Baldridge, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Christian Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Agape Christian the next time they take the court. HomeSchool Resource Center will head out to face Agape Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, while Christian Liberty will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
