The St. Dominic Saints are taking a road trip to face off against the Mount Abram Roadrunners at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Dominic is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Last Wednesday, St. Dominic got the win against Valley by a conclusive 12-1. Considering the Saints have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Madeline Andrews made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Andrews was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played.
In other batting news, Cassidy Russell was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Chloe Croteau, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
St. Dominic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Mount Abram's offense. They lost 16-0 to Lisbon on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Roadrunners' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
St. Dominic pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Abram, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
St. Dominic was able to grind out a solid win over Mount Abram in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 9-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
