If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Chaminade. They will be playing at home against Webster Groves at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Chaminade were averaging 30.22 points per game entering their game last Friday, but they just couldn't find their rhythm against Lutheran North. Chaminade took a serious blow against Lutheran North, falling 0-40. Chaminade were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
Meanwhile, we expected Webster Groves to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Rockwood Summit, and they did. Webster Groves ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-29 walloping at Rockwood Summit's hands. Webster Groves' loss continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it eight losses in a row.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
