When it comes to explaining why Dayton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kieran Conway. Despite the final result, he scored six points along with two blocks. It was the first time this season that Conway posted two or more blocks. Aden Pecana was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Delaware Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Dayton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Delaware Valley will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dayton, they will be playing at home against the Pioneers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
