The Central Cabarrus Vikings put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by South Rowan on the road to the tune of 88-19. Central Cabarrus has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Desmond Kent Jr., who scored 24 points along with nine rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Dalton, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Central Cabarrus' win was their 15th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.5 points per game. As for South Rowan, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
Central Cabarrus will be playing in front of their home fans against Carson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Rowan, they will head out on the road to square off against Robinson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
