The Trinity Christian Gryphons will square off against the Episcopal Maroon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Christian has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Trinity Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic by a score of 17-14 on Tuesday. The Gryphons have beaten the Wolves the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wolves has come to flipping the script.
Isaac Norman was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Trinity Christian is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-4 otherwise. Norman was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Trinity Christian got a massive performance out of Grady Frank, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI and two runs. Those four hits gave Frank a new career-high. Philip Long was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Trinity Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .447. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-6 to Bishop Ireton.
Truman Albright made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Moses Lopez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
The win got Trinity Christian back to even at 4-4. As for Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
