Southern Lab's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 18-3 margin over the East Feliciana Tigers. With that win, the Kittens brought their scoring average up to 8.8 runs per game.

Logan Metevia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. Metevia was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. That run was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Reginald Ellis was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jamar Gardner, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Southern Lab always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Southern Lab back to even at 2-2. As for East Feliciana, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Southern Lab has already played their next match, a 17-7 defeat against East Iberville on the 28th. As for East Feliciana, they will welcome Madison Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Feliciana is facing Madison Prep Academy at the right time seeing as Madison Prep Academy is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
