Monsignor Donovan Catholic had a senior duo take command as Nick Huff dropped a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds and John W Thompson III dropped a double-double on 31 points and 14 rebounds. Huff is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Devin Jones was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five steals.
When it comes to explaining why Pinecrest Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jake Bohn. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Bohn scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Heaney, who scored 11 points.

As for Pinecrest Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against the Saints at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
