The match was Cooper's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Jackson, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Calhoun City's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-1. As for Woodward Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Calhoun City will head out on the road to face off against Oxford at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Oxford has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 289 points over their last four matchups. Woodward Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Hillgrove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hillgrove's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests.
