The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They took a serious blow against University Christian, falling 76-31. Trinity Christian Academy has not had much luck with University Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
University Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was BRYANT BOYKIN, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was KARRINGTON JOHNSON, who scored 11 points.
Trinity Christian Academy's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-6. As for University Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.
Trinity Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Zarephath Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Zarephath Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for University Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against IMG Academy White at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. IMG Academy White has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
