After failing to score in their last contest, Fike made sure to put some goals up on the board against South Johnston on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Trojans a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Fike, who have now won five matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting South Johnston from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Samantha Mallol led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Fike is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those eight contests. As for South Johnston, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9.
