Even though Pike Valley has not done well against the Leopards recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Pike Valley came out on top against the Leopards by a score of 44-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pike Valley.
Raelyn Bolte and Breanna Reeves were among the main playmakers for Pike Valley as the former scored 15 points along with five rebounds and the latter scored 20 points along with two steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Reeves has scored at least a third of Pike Valley's points.
Meanwhile, Osborne stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 66-22 win over Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco]. 66 seems to be a good number for Osborne as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Pike Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6. As for Osborne, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.
Pike Valley came up short against the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 48-35. Thankfully for Pike Valley, Trinity Lutters (who scored 25 points along with six steals and five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
