Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boaz). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Albertville Aggies an 18-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering the Pirates have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Boaz has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. Albertville's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.
