The Olmsted Owls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Riverside at home to the tune of 84-35. Olmsted has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Riverside's loss came despite strong showings from Landon Jaeckle and Nelson Camacho. Jaeckle scored 11 points, while Camacho scored ten points.
The victory (which was Olmsted's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36 points. As for Riverside, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Olmsted does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Riverside will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burgard has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 260 points over their last four contests.
