Worth County/Northeast Nodaway extended the longest winning streak in 275 (8 Man) this week by beating Stanberry, 26-10. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Tigers.
North Nodaway took down Craig/Fairfax 70-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Mound City's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Luke Sanders has thrown for 657 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Dayne Messer has 16 catches for 380 yards. Thomas Shifflett leads the league in rushing with 679 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Hornets and South Holt. Craig/Fairfax comes into the matchup ranked 24th in the state, while the Knights ranks 22nd.
The Mustangs led 275 (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 70 points on Matt Messick's team.
