Softball Recap: Grand Prairie Has No Trouble Against Lamar

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arlington, Grand Prairie was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Lamar Vikings. The Gophers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Grand Prairie's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Lamar, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grand Prairie will welcome Bowie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bowie has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something Grand Prairie will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lamar, they will host Martin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
