In what's become a running theme this season, Daviess County gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Owensboro Red Devils  a   10-0 shutout. The  victory was nothing new for Daviess County as they're now sitting on nine straight.
  Kamryn Timmons tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Molly Hancock and  Sadie Morris did most of the damage at the plate:  Hancock  went 4-for-4 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and  an  RBI, while  Morris  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Briley Henry, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Daviess County is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record  this season. As for Owensboro, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
 Daviess County has the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome South Warren at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Owensboro, they are on the road again  on Sunday to play Owensboro Catholic at 2:00  p.m.
