The Wooster Colts lost against the North Valleys Panthers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Wooster falling 70-51. They have struggled against North Valleys recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Ivy Williams, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds for North Valleys. Williams is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Alexys DeCremer was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 12 assists and six rebounds.
Wooster's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for North Valleys, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
Wooster will be playing at home against Sparks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Sparks is ranked 84th, while Wooster is ranked 70th). North Valleys won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against South Tahoe at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully South Tahoe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
